...spring or not...

After all spring is arrived... the weather is quite horrible today ... but the temperature is perfect.. we can finally put our nose outside the door to make long walks .... After so many flash post on my mini art journal today I have the time to write a post little longer ... but just a bit .. Here everything proceeds well Giuli is growing fast now she is 4 months and she already weighs more than 7 kg is very heavy ... she smiles a lot and tries to seat she never stop! Giulia and Alice are fantastic together ... Alice tells her sister a lot of things and Giulia is very happy when she sees Alice ... it is a beautiful thing to see them together!	Direi che è arrivata la primavera… oggi il tempo è abbastanza schifosino…ma la temperatura è perfetta.. finalmente riusciamo a mettere il naso fuori dalla porta per fare delle lunghe passeggiate….tutto di guadagnato per i miei kili di troppo che devo cercare di smaltire… Dopo tanti post flash del mio mini art journal un post un pochino più lungo…ma solo un pochino.. Da queste parti procede tutto bene la Giuli cresce che è una meraviglia ormai compie 4 mesi e pesa già più di 7 kg…è fortissima fa dei gran sorrisoni e cerca di mettersi a sedere non sta mai ferma!! Lei e l’Ali insieme sono fantastiche…Alice le racconta un sacco di cose e lei contraccambia ridendo di gusto, quando arriva sua sorella si agita tutta…è una bellissima cosa vederle insieme!!

Since grandmother complained that she had no pictures of her nieces to show to the world I made these photo holder following the instructions of Emily ... at the end I did one also for myself...	Dato che la nonna si lamentava di non avere le foto delle sue nipotine da far vedere al mondo ho realizzato questi portafoto da borsa seguendo un’idea di Emily …alla fine ne ho fatto uno anche per me non potevo stare senza…
And this is a coffee box that I made for our kitchen.. The chart is from 2009 Margaret Sherry Calendar I liked a lot this big cat and I decided to finish it in this box… after 2 months of use is still there and then I can say that it works! Also Luca uses it ... I would not believe!	E questo è un porta cialde da caffè che ho fatto per la nostra cucina.. Lo schema è del calendario 2009 di Margaret Sherry mi piaceva un sacco questo gattone e ho deciso di realizzare questa cosa direi utile dopo 2 mesi di utilizzo è ancora lì quindi direi che funziona!!! La usa anche Luca…da non crederci!

.. Margaret Sherry's Sport & Hobbies SAL ...

I try not to start any SAL this year ,I think I have little time to stitch when I’ll came back to work the 2nd of April but I can’t resist to this one…so I join Margaret Sherry's Sport & Hobbies SAL organized by Dolci Fusa ...I renew my subscription to Cross Stitcher for this new series!!	Quest'anno ho cercato di resistere e di non iscrivermi a nessun SAL dato che temo non avrò molto tempo dopo che sarò tornata al lavoro...ma a questo non sono proprio riuscita a resistere.... quindi mi sono iscritta al SAL Margaret Sherry's Sport & Hobbies organizzato da Dolci Fusa.
I start with Keep fit bird since it’s the first one published it’s very quick to stitch it took more time to convert colour from Anchor to DMC and to search treads !! I would like to stitch the first 3 characters already published before work re- starting.	Ho iniziato con l'uccellino che salta la corda...fortunatamente è stato velocissimo da realizzare... ho impiegato più tempo a convertire i colori da Anchor a DMC e a cercare i fili!! It’s easy…some weeks ago Alice loose her big tooth and she is very fun with this big hole in her mouth!!	Stavolta è più facile...qualche settimana fa Alice ha perso il dentone davanti ( la settimana dopo ha perso anche l'altro!!) ed era davvero ridicola con quel buco enorme in bocca!! Non riuscivo proprio a smettere di ridere... che madre degenere!!

Very interesting and demanding question…I had to thought about it for a long time…then I decided this is my answer…(the front and the back seems of 2 different cards but this is what I have done yesterday night!!) As I said in latest post I fall in love with Emily blog and with her 52Q…a year of questions and answers challenge …each week she will post a new question, which can be interpreted in any way and journalled through words and scraps and art on your chosen surface…. This is my first attempt to scrapbooking so I hope to make something passable…as a surface I choose to use a deck of cards (my father, the owner of all deck of cards in our home, isn’t very happy of my decision but … he has a lot of decks so one can be sacrificed for art) as suggested by Emily (she use a deck of cards in her first mini journal)…since the challenge is started at the beginning of 2009 I was quite late but yesterday evening (when Luca was at his volley training and my girls were in bed -Giulia now go to bed about at 9.00 pm)I catch up with the challenge...and I amused myself..	Come vi avevo accennato nell'ultimo post mi sono innamorata del blog di Emily e della sua iniziativa 52Q…un anno di domande e risposte .... Emily ogni settimana posta una domanda e ognuno può interpretarla come preferisce attraverso parole e ritagli su qualsiasi supporto. Come suggerito da Emily ho scelto un supporto piccolo e seguendo l'esempio del suo art journal del 2007 ho scelto di usare un mazzo di carte...questo per la gioia di mio padre che ha storto il naso quando ha visto che prendevo un mazzo delle sue preziose carte da gioco per fare i miei "pocci"...comunque siccome l'iniziativa era partita all'inizio del 2009 ero piuttosto indietro ma complice i fatto che ieri Luca era ad allenamento e le bimbe sono andate a letto presto mi sono messa subito in pari..questo è il mio primo scrapbooking e non so se sto facendo dei pocci mastodontici ma mi sono divertita molto a fare queste carte!!

Inspirations or copies?

Surfing the web and reading blogs I found several great ideas and I fall in love … so I try to make something similar… Since it is still winter even if it’s sunny in Reggio I made this snowman panel inspired by the work of Manu	Curiosando qua e là sul web mi sono innnamorata di alcuni lavoretti fatti da blogger bravissime e ho provato a riprodurli.. Anche se da 2 settimane a Reggio c'è uno splendido sole la temperatura ci dice che è ancora inverno quindi non ho potuto resistere e ho realizzato questo pannello invernale con pupazzo di neve prendendo spunto ( o copiando che dir si voglia) dal lavoretto pubblicato sul blog di Manu.
Then reading the blog Decoreblablabla I found the idea of some softies and since my felt slipper are dead I decide to recycle it and make this softies for Alice… this is the name she gave them.	Leggendo il blog Decoreblablabla ho trovato questa idea carinissima di realizzare dei softies. Dato chele mie povere ciabatte di feltro dopo due anni di onorato servizio si sono rotte ho deciso di riciclarle in questi pupazzetti per Alice...direi che le sono piaciuti dato che ha affibiato subito un nome a entrambi!!
Finally watching Cata blog I fall in love with this little doll … and I try to make one for Alice and this is the end result	Infine curiosando nel blog di Cata mi sono bimbattuta in questa fantastica bambolina … che ho provato a riprodurre anche se con risultati mediocri..
...inspirations or copies I don't know... I think that my work are rough copies of the original…but it’s ok I quoted the autors and Alice loves them so I’m happy Now I’m in love with this scrapper blog so…I’ll try to make something	...non so bene se definire questi lavori ispirazioni o copie...Comunque dato che ho citato l'autrice originale attribuendogli il merito di queste idee ho la coscienza a posto inoltre i miei lavori sono comunque le brutte copie degli originali ... ma dato che ad Alice piacciono sono felice così mi accontento di poco... Da qualche giorno mi sono innamorata del blog di questa scrapper ... credo che proverò a cimentarmi in qualcosa...

Last week I received this unexpected gift for Giulia from Silvia a dear x-stitch friend…thank you very much Silvia it’s wonderful and very useful!!!	La scorsa settimana è arrivato questo splendido regalo per Giulia da parte di Silvia una cara amica di crocette...non me lo aspettavo è stata una gradevolissima sorpresa!! Grazie mille Silvia è magnifico e molto utile!!

I manage it, first happy dance of 2009!! Last Monday I finished the gift for my parents’ 30th Wedding Anniversary..I stitch very hard last week when I finished I saw hearts everywhere. Since I have no time to frame it I bought this heart hanger and I made this pink panel...I’m very satisfied by the final result even if it’s quite crooked. For Chiloe I’m not French but I like very much Lili Points chart!!

Ce l'ho fatta!! E' stata dura ma ci sono arrivata in fondo..alla fine vedevo solo cuori cuori e cuori . Dato che non avevo abbastanza tempo per farlo incorniciare ho deciso di fare questo pannello di stoffa e di appenderlo a questo supporto a forma di cuore...sono piuttosto soddisfatta del risultato finale anche se è un pò stortignaccolo!!

..Welcome 2009...

First of all happy New Year to everyone!! Here 2009 is started with a lot of snow!! This is my car blocked by the snow half inside our backyard and half in the street, it stay on this position till my husband came back home!! I’m hopeless with car!!	Prima di tutto buon anno tutte!! Qui a Reggio il 2009 è iniziato con una bella nevicata e io ne ho combinata una delle mie!! Ho incastrato la macchina su un cumulo di neve che era davanti al nostro cancello...la macchina non andava nè avanti nè indietro...e io ho pensato bene di lasciarla lì..mezza dentro e mezza fuori.. fino al ritorno di mio marito che dopo un pò di brontolate l'ha sbloccata!!
Giulia had her 1 month check up and everything is ok she is growing very well!! She sleeps a lot so I can stitch, sew, read…and also make housework!! To start 2009 n a good way I decide to tidy up my started project till the end of 2009 I would like to finish Lili Points Christmas tree ( I started it before Giulia’s birth but I can’t finish it on time for Christmas) and Lizzie Kate flip it bit ( in April I’ll re-start with a block for month). An other started project is the Somebunny chart since 3 bunnies are too much for me I decided to finished the green one and I won’t stitch the other two one...I think it’s lovely also alone, doesn’t it?	Giulia cresce che è una meraviglia alla visita per il suo primo mese tutto procedeva bene a parte un pò di catarro ma direi che è normale data la "bella" stagione! E' una dormigliona quindi finiti i lavori di casa ho un pò di tempo da dedicare ai miei hobby! Per iniziare bene il 2009 ho deciso di fare un pò di pulizia tra i vari progetti che ho inizato entro fine anno vorrei finire l'albero di Natale di Lili Points che non sono riuscita a terminare in tempo per Natale e i flip it bits di Lizzie kate che avevo abbandonato ad aprile l'anno scorso... Per quanto riguarda i Somebunny to Love ho deciso che 3 erano troppi per me...e ne ho finito uno solo ( quello verde che era già in fondo ) mi piace anche così...che ne dite?
I started a new project the other Lili Points chart I bought last November. My parents will celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary on 27th of January so I would like to stitch this chart as a gift…and this is my progress so far… I hope to finish it on time ( I would like also to frame it before 27th … not likely)	Ho iniziato anche l'altro schema di Lili Points che avevo comprato a Novembre. I miei genitori festeggiano il 30° anniversario di matrimonio il 27 gennaio e vorrei regalarglielo incorniciato (utopia!!) se mi metto di voglia posso farcela speriamo!!
