I’m very happy, I long for a long time to have my second child and now I’ m expecting a baby, he/she (I don’t know yet) will born on the 4th of December (the day after Alice 's bithday).
I hope everything will shape up well.
The first 3 month have gone, I had sickness all day long so I was quite tired and I have no wish to stitch or sew … my sister asked me to stitch this Archie bear for her I started it after Easter an this is all I have done in this 2 month…I hope to finish it soon or my sister will kill me

And this is my march work:
I made this lovely Lottie for Alice’s room, finally I used the pink linen I bought years ago

Voilà March flip it bit by Lizze Kate …I’m quite late also with this work...

Two month of little disaster …
I have planned to do some project in this month but I have to change my idea because of some troubles..I start with an idea and i finish with another one…it’s very annoying!!
I started Alice’s curtains I decide to stitch one of Margaret Sherry seasonal cats, I’ve stitched an half of the first cat when I notice that I have use the wrong side of the curtain…arg…so I decide to sew this flower (I found this flower here) on the curtain instead of the stitching (also because this linen is very difficult to stitch!)
OLD

NEW

Then I started my grandparents 60th anniversary gift, i decide to stitch a wedding sampler of an old number of Cross Stitcher but after a while I didn’t like this kind of stitching too many changes of colours and too much flowers!!! Surfing the web I found a free chart of a little church by Michael Powell (this church seems perfect it remember me the church of the little village where my grandparents had lived) and i decide to stitch it and make this little pillow filled with lavender.
OLD
NEW

And this is my little troubles in this month…but i have made also some good things (I think)...
I made January and February flip it bit by Lizzie Kate:
And some creative sewing model from Tone Finnanger's creations book
I took the model of this little snail from the book “Tilda Sommer” :
and this little chick from the book “Tilda Paske”e questo pulcino tratto dal libro "Tilda Paske"
Have a nice week!!
Thank to all people for the help in finding the chart I show you last time: it’s an anchor of their Born to Shop Baby range
Buon week end a tutte!!

Hi girl, how are you? And your 2008? Mine is started in a good way always busy but it’s ok now I’m used to it!!!
I would like to show you my first project for 2008: the “Bouncing Bunny” by DMC Somebuny to love stitched for a Charity Project for Levi. I finished it last week but I had no time to puts i was busy with my Italian copy of Harry Potter, I read it last summer in English but in Italian is another reading (I’m not so good in English as you have already understood)!!! I understand all the details and it’s wonderful!!!

Ciao a tutte, come va?
I have started a new a SAL organized by Sarò una saetta for 2008 the Lizze kate flip it bits. I colour the linen by myself following the instruction of Sysca . I used coffee to make a Light moka linen…Ho inziato un nuovo SAL organizzato da Sarò una saetta che andrà avanti per tutto il 2008. Ricameremo i flip it bits di Lizzie Kate.
Now I need your help to find the designer of this chart. I find the picture on “The world of cross stitching” of December in the page for 2008 award unfortunately there is no information on that chart, someone could help me . Thank you very much!! Grazie mille dell'aiuto!!

Last Monday was Alice’s birthday…she is already 7 years old…wow!! I made this little bag for her with this Hello Kitty stitching made with metallic floss instead of normal DMC treads.

Today we had the birthday party with 12 shouting children luckily everything go well and now we are happy and alive ready for tomorrow Christmas decoration as usual on the 8th of December..
Last week end I was ill so I spent my time sewing this Nativity scene from Country dreams online magazine as soon as I saw this project I know i have to do it and I’m quite happy by the end result.

I sewed also this Christmas tree from Crafting Christmas Gifts
It’s quite crooked and luca tell me it seems like some cucumber on a toothpick but I like it and I think it’s funny for my kitchen!!
Have a nice week end!!
Buon week end a tutte!!

Christmas is arriving, the shop are full of Christmas supplies and the atmosphere and the temperature (very cold!!) is changing I love very much this period of the year…

To enrich this atmosphere last Thursday I received this marvellous glove from Rachele for the second round of glove exchange, she stitch a lovely snowman and send me also this beautiful buttons….thank you very much Rachele!!! I love everything…

Last week also Stella, my partner for the Margaret Sherry exchange I have organized on MS group, receive what I have made for her. Stella loves Hedgehog s I stitch for her two hedgehogs one with bubbles and one with Christmas light. With the first one I made a “scacciapensieri” (I can’t find the English name of this object) and with the second one an ornaments to remain on theme.

To conclude this Christmas post I would like to show my current WIP, I’m stitching the Christmas hedgehogs from issue 192 of Cross Stitcher, I would like to make a chain with it.if i could finish alll this French knots…it won’t be easy…
Have a nice week and thank you for al your kind comments!!

Have a nice week end!!

It’s time of exchanges…I took part in 3 exchanges whose deadlines are all in October so I work only on it so I couldn't show you any Wip .

The 15th of October was the deadline of Halloween Exchange organized by Irma so I can show you what I have done…

This is my Halloween exchange piece for Patrizia, I stitched a Lizze Kate chart named Happy Haunting on an Aida I coloured with English Breakfast tea. The finished piece is little pillow and I sent Patrizia some sweets for Halloween . Patrizia loves it and I liked very much to stitch it!!

This is the Halloween exchange piece I received from Carlotta, this witch is lovely and I received also some chocolates.

Grazie mille Carlotta!!

This is a little gift for my cousin, I choose a free design by Lizze kate .This time I use only hand dyed colour and made each time a complete X and I have to say I like it very much. My mum finish the stitching in a little pillow with lavender unfortunately I have no picture of the pillow….

Some weeks ago I noticed that my favourite LNS are closing….it’s very sad this is the only good shop in my town so now I have only Internet for X-stitch supply. The only positive thing is that there are sale so I bought some fabric and treads saving a lot of money.

Have a nice week end!!

Buon week end a tutte!!

Hi girls...I'm back from two weeks of vacation at Pinarella beach (very relaxing ) and from two month far from blogging ……I need some time to accustom to the new home rhythm away from my parents' house …moreover I had to wait for my internet connection at home (it took a long time )…but now I'm ready for a new working year (I'm still thinking in schoolar year instead of calendar one)…

…I slept on post but I stitched enough

Lets follow a chronological order

- in June I stitched this Newton to make a cover for my cutter.

- last July I started the Sailing Mice by Margaret Sherry of the July issue of Cross Stitcher to make curtain a for my bathroom. I finished them last week… and I'm quite satisfied by the end result ….the mice fit well with my orange bathroom!!!

- In July I stitched also a needleroll for Carol's birthday, I choose a chart called Summer charm from the July issue of Cross Stitcher, I used the DMC linen treads instead of the listed one…Carol loved it even if she tell me she had never seen one so big…ops...I've never seen a finished needleroll and I choose the measure by myself maybe I exaggerated …

- to take a break from the linen of the Sailing Mice ( I don't like very much linen) I stitched this Peekaboo kids by Deborah Flynn from issue n. 125 of The world of Cross Stitching

- when I finished the mice I stitch the wizard of SAL with Zohrah and Jenna and this is my current progress

- on Monday evening I decided to start a new chart the Archie “Messy Spaghetti” of CrossStitcher September 2006

Have a nice week

Zohrah points out that my house restructuring history is in the future…after all this chaotic months I’m a little bit confused…. Thank you Zohrah….
Weeks ago I have been tagged by Zohrah and Chiloe and better late than never this is my 7 facts/habit:
Here are the rules: Each player starts with 7 random facts/habits about themselves. People who are tagged need to write on their own blog about their seven things, as well as these rules. You need to choose 7 people to get tagged and list their names. Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them they have been tagged and to read your blog![I won’t tag anyone…if there is someone that has not been tagged yet feell free to list your seven things]

I hate driving when I’m in the car I’m a became a beast…like Goofy in a cartoon I saw when I was a child.
I and my sister in our childhood watched some films (like the Goonies, Adventures in Babysitting, Parent Trap) several times (at least thousand time each!!)...now we know all the cues rote
I love my nose but….I have a nostril greater than the other one, a nose hump that grows during the years and an unending cold...
I won my brown karate belt while I was expecting Alice….degenerate mum (I was only at the third month)

I‘m truly clumsy: on Saturday I broke 2 glasses in two minutes a new record!!!
I read always and everywhere…if I find something to read I do it and forget all the rest…also the food on the fire

I would like to have a lot of cactus in my kitchen but I can’t cultivate them….all my cactus died… I have a black thumb instead of a green one

For Helena the letter C is a chart of Camp Grandma by Jessica Breedlove Designs (Gloria & Pat) unfortunately I don’t know where you could buy it.

At last Saturday we moved…after several trouble everything was ready…we are very happy we love everything of our new house, it’s stil quite upside-down but everything will find their place sooner or later...below you can see some photos that show the restructuring story:

And now some x-stitch update:
This is the "C" I stitched for the GrandMa alphabet cover of Sogni d'Oro charity project organized by Levi

This is a little card I stitched for two friends who got married last week. The chartcome from the last ( I think maybe the previous one) number of Cross Stitch Crazy and is made by Maria Diaz.

And those are two bibs I stitched for two children of our friends who have their baptism last week. The chart are from one of the last issue of The world Of Cross Stitching by Johan Elliot.

Thank you for all your kind comment on my works
For the girls who tagged me sorry for my delay I'll post my answers sooner or later
Have a nice week end

A little finishing for me this week...after the pig I decided to start something small and i choose this Margaret Sherry cat from my stash..I think it's cute don't you?

In italy 1st of May is national holiday... tomorrow I'll go to the seaside for some days i hope to relax myself (and forget the stress of the house moving)...so have a nice week end

things to do and I’ve started my house moving…I’m very happy my house is almost ready and we will move there soon (I’ll show you some photos sooner or later)

I would like to show you my last finishing: Pig Must Fly by Margaret Sherry….This word fit perfectly with my conditions!!! I’m not completely satisfied by the end results there is a lot of mistakes and imprecision due to the fact I used 3 strand of treads for the pink part as suggested on the magazine….awful choice

I’m back from two terrible weeks at work...I hope there will be a calm period now….
Winter is back ….It has been raining for 2 days and it’s very cold…
In the last week I didn’t post anything but I stitch and sew a lot to relax myself after those stressing working days …so some x-stitch update

First of all I finished the Peekaboo kid …she is nice doesn’t she? In next issue of TWOCS there will be an other kid of the series I’m itching to see and stitch her

The original idea was to frame the peekaboo kid and to put it in Alice’s room…the problem is that Alice doesn’t like the design because the girl hasn’t her eyes…so I change my mind and I use the fabric to make a bag to store my swimsuits…this chart is perfect for the seaside

I finished also the curious cat fabric…I made a little bag to store my socks…very useful

Now (as Melissa received her fabric) I can show you also my x-stitching on Melissa’s fabric for the MS RR…I stitched the duck of 12 days of Christmas….a good training to improve my French knots technique (about 50 French knots done )

Last week I worked on the Heart Exchange organized by Vale and Simo…I send my finished piece to my partner last Saturday I’ll show you a photo as soon as it will reach its new home…

This is my last Wednesday progress for Wizard SAL…I stitch the word wizard
Last week I started a new project Pig must fly by Margaret Sherry and this is my current wip
Yesterday I applied myself sewing some Easter ornaments I hope to show you my end results soon ( I plan to finish it this evening)

Thank you very much for your kind comments on my curious cat they are very appreciated
Have a nice week

A review of my stitching week…my DH went skiing with his father all this week so I’m alone with Alice DD and when she goes to bed I stitch....

Sunday and Monday evening was dedicated to curious cat …and this is the end result:

The silkweaver lemon sparkling fabric is perfect for this chart and save me from the yellow cross stitch in one strand if I had to make all this half cross stitch point I’ll never finish it!! I think I’ll finish it in a little bag to store my stockings

Tuesday was an ironing evening…

Wednesday evening (only 15 minutes) was dedicated to computer wizard SAL…I stitch only some black x:

On Thursday I start a new project…I decide to stitch “A day at the beach” of the series Peekaboo kids by Deborah Flynn from The World of Cross Stitching n. 115, anno 2006…I love this little design…I would like to stitch all the series (hoping that the magazine will publish other design as they said) and frame it in the IKEA little frame…to fit the frame size I choose aida 16 but I think it’s quite small …

Yesterday evening a little stitching form me only some xxx on the little girl

Have a nice week end

Today it seems like spring there are 20°C we stay outside all the day and tomorrow my DH will go skiing…the weather this year is very strange...

A great news my MS RR fabric is back. My theme was Archie Bear and this is the end result… I love very much my fabric it’s wonderful

Since the fabric has a strange shape I decide to take it to the framer, I choose a blue frame I’m itching to see the end result.

This week I stitch the last part of Melissa fabric and this morning I send it to her…I’ll post a photo my work as soon as she will receive it.

I enjoy this RR…thank you to all my RR friend for her work and friendship.

Other x-stitch update

This is my last progress for the Wednesday Wizard Sal with the coloured chart it’s a pleasure to stitch on this pattern…I finished the hat with the star attached and I start the word “Wizard”

This is a card I sent Jenn for her birthday …This is a pattern by Barbara Barret from issue 182 of Cross Stitcher…usually I don’t like flower chart but when I saw this one I think it is very cute and original…so I stitch it (since this chart come from my stash I can consider it my first finished piece for the 25 pieces challenge)

This is my current progress on Curious cat I have to finish it to carry out my objectives…after a evening of stitch I have almost finished the boot…how many green….I hope to finish it this week so that I‘ll start a new project…

A quick post to show you my last progress on Computer wizard….I think it’s a good idea to post a photo of my last Wednesday progress on Computer Wizard before tomorrow x-stitch… better late than never (unfortunately last Thursday and Friday I was out from the office and I have no time to post anything)…I finished only the hair, my progress would be more considerable but unfortunately I waste a lot of time colouring the chart…I bought the chart for Patterns online.com so this is a file .pat I print it in a black a white version (B/W symbol) because I haven’t a colour print…Last Wednesday I notice that there are several identical symbol for different DMC colour so I have to check all of them and colour it to avoid mistake in the stitching...it was an awful grind!!

Yesterday I start a SAL with Zohrah and Jenna…we decide to stitch the Computer Wizard by Alma Lynne every Wednesday.

This is my progress so far…as you can see this is a very little progress but yesterday was a busy day and I have only few minutes for x-stitch…I’ll stitch more next Wednesday

Today's SBQ is:

Do you like to buy "chartpacks" that include charms, buttons, and/or
beads or do you prefer to gather all materials yourself?

I like to buy “chartpacks” even if by today I buy only one …It’s easier and quicker

Whopee, I’ve got it!!!

As planned I finished the last flip it stamp last Monday evening. I stitch all the evening until it’s finished…at the end my eyes are very tired but I held on and I completed it.

I’m overjoyed to show you my Lizzie Kate Flip-it stamp completed

Thank you very much to my SAL partner...make a SAL help me to finish this big project... alone I jack it in before.

Thank you for all your kind comment on my envelope.
