...Ali's first work...

Last Sunday was a stitching day…not for me but for my DD Alice…
I was sitting on my sofa stitching on my September flip it (this is my progress) when Alice ask for her cloth because she would like to stitch with me…. So I remembered the June issue of Cross Stitcher with two little charts for kids to learn how to stitch….I uncovered it and she chose the boat chart, she personalized it with the sea and the two side sail. She stitch for 3 hours with care and she didn’t stop until she finished her work…

....at the end she was proud of her work and showed it to everyone.

I finish it in a little scissor fob…
At the end of the day I was very happy for her result but I was also very tired, it’s hard to teach to a child how to stitch…you need a lot of patience... I hope she won't ask me to stitch for a month at least ;o)

Thank you for all your kind comments...

Thank you to the anonymous that told me I have missed a couple of green crosses…I didn’t notice it, I have already put right!!!

For Stitcher the first idea was to frame my flip it…by now I’m quite undecided maybe I’ll sew a panel with it….we will see :o)

She did a great job, and she looks so proud of herself. What a good idea to turn it into a fob so that it can be used and she can see how much it was appreciated. Has she decided if she wants to start another project yet?
